Once upon a time, I had a dream

 

Once upon a time, I had a dream. I had a dream that I could achieve something great in my life. But I have no idea what that “great” means and where does it come from?💭

As I grew up I came to know  “A person who achieves something and has a name for himself or herself in history is considered as great.”

So I became ambitious, believed in myself, and had a passion to achieve something.
       Later I was surprised to know “ A great person can be anyone, can be a  teacher, a fireman, a policeman, a doctor, a nurse, a soldier, a volunteer, a farmer, or many more occupations of helping people.” 

So I wanted to help people through my profession. I guessed my search will end here👍. Knowingly or unknowingly every time, I was thriving to be perfect in every task I was assigned to.

Things were going right in my way.  But Sometimes even though I was happy I wasn’t feeling happy because of consistent void and I wonder why I still don’t feel great.

But one day when I met you it all seems different.  The way I look at myself and people changed and it changed everything.

It doesn't matter how much I put effort to do something, I felt so inadequate.

Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to show what I'm not. I'm trying to see what I want to see in me but not what's in front of me and what I actually feel for me.

Even the stupidest thing you do seems great to me. If I see that same behavior in others, they also feel great. I felt a little curious, a little strange, and a little affectionate towards you which filled my void. Even when you say “ stupid,” to me I'm clueless😕 why I feel soo great in that.

You look brilliant, intelligent, and great to me even with your silliest laugh. I don’t know why love is considered as great until I met you💓.

I think Greatness doesn't come from being perfect or bridging the gap between the imperfect and perfect versions of you. It's not being flawlessness.

Greatness comes from love with a soulful mind that can feel for others☺.
